Become a Competition Member of 518 Martial Arts and earn points at every competition!
Once registered as a Competitor Member of 518 Martial Arts, competitors will earn points for each event they place in at the 6 sanctioned 518 Martial Arts Competitions each year. The point values are listed in the chart below.
Competitors will earn Regional Titles based on accumulated points. At the end of the year the following Regional Awards will be presented.

Award winners will receive specialized high end awards specific to their award category. Ie. Weapons COY will receive a Personalized Samurai Sword. Competitors that win Overall COY will be ineligible for additional specialty awards.
Every 518 Martial Arts tournament is an opportunity to earn points

Only Creative Breaking Events will count towards point earnings, NO power breaking events will Count.
Team events will not count towards point earnings.
* The Winter Cup is an All Around Event, only one final Award is earned, competitors will only earn 1 Point Value for this event.
** There will be a maximum of 20 points that can be earned at the North East Open.

In the case of a Tie at the completion of the Competition Year, multiple Awards for the tie will be presented.

2024 Memberships include 518 Martial Arts Patch
Membership is valid for the calendar year of 2024. Renewals will take place for 2025
Competitors are not required to attend any number or specific events.
Points are only earned for 518 Martial Art Sanctioned events.
To receive points for a competition, competitors must be a registered 518 Martial Arts Member before the start of the following competition. This means that if a competitor competes and places at competition A but is not a member, they have until the start of competition B to register and if they do they can receive back the points earned from the place standings at competition A.
All finalists, those who compete but do not place 1st-4th place will receive participation points. Participation Points are per competition event at each competition. So a competitor that places 5th in both forms & weapons, receives 2 participation point values.
